Alpha Data cloud solution cuts Alam Group's data-connectivity costs by 35 per cent
UAE – July 17, 2016 - Alpha Data, the UAE’s leading systems integrator and one of the longest-standing IT companies in the country, has announced that its Alpha Cloud solution has reduced the data-connectivity costs of Alam Group, the renowned supermarket and trading group, by 35 per cent.
An Alpha Data client since 2009, Alam Group recently considered using a cloud computing solution to support its growing operations which includes more than 20 supermarket branches across the UAE with another five to open by the end of 2016. It consulted its plan to adopt cloud computing for the first time with Alpha Data – one of the few private systems integrators in the country to launch a public cloud. Alpha Data detailed the extensive features and benefits of its Alpha Cloud, an internet-based computing solution for sharing processing resources and data on demand specifically tailored for UAE clients.
Alam Group was impressed by Alpha Cloud’s secure and scalable architecture, the flexibility of its service packages which can be purchased either pre-paid or post-paid, and its easy onboarding process. It was also attracted to Alpha Cloud’s fast deployment period which can be as much as six months less than that required by other solutions on the market.
Through the Alpha Cloud, related devices and employees now have easy, secure and fast access to data required to ensure the satisfaction of Alam Group’s customers.
Amar Singh, Sales Director at Alpha Data, said: “Alam Group is a long-term partner that sought our help in bringing its business to the cloud to improve its competitiveness, operational efficiency, and customer impact. We were able to prove that Alpha Cloud offers the best solution based on security, performance and cost-effectiveness. Through our solution, Alam Group now enjoys simpler, faster and more secure information processing and management.”
“We chose Alpha Cloud based on its outstanding ability to secure our data, provide easy and cost-effective connectivity anytime and anywhere, and help our Group adapt to new technology trends. Through its deployment we have been able to reduce our data-connectivity costs by around 35 per cent and significantly improve operational and customer satisfaction levels by providing our employees with easy access to the information they need to maximize their productivity. Based on the huge success of this project we look forward to having Alpha Data as one of our technology partner for future IT developments” added Kazi Shahidul Islam, Head of IT, Alam Group.
