Dubai, UAE, August 29, 2016:  Dubai-based, multi-awarded model from Bulgaria Margo Cooper wins the prestigious title of World Beauty Organization’s ‘Top Model of the World’ that was held in Radisson Blu Bremen, Germany on 26th of August 2016, a first for Bulgaria and UAE. 

The 23-year old model and journalism degree holder from Moscow State University was an early favorite to win the title because of her inspirational stance, stunning complexion, graceful saunter, beguiling body and captivating smile. The judges of the competition was led by Maria Leiber – Chairwoman of Jury, Top Model of the World’s last year winner Elena Kosmina, Selina Kriechbaum – Queen of Europe 2015, Valentina Rasulova – Miss Intercontinental 2015, Carmen Sanne Salomon – Owner Acting School Duesseldorf, Sema Sarigül – Owner Beauty Clinic LACOMED and Almasija Reineke  of EMS-Magdeburg. 

“I really did not expect to win the competition. I cried because of happiness, it was just like a dream and I would like to thank everyone who supported me including my friends in UAE and my family in Bulgaria, who are all incessantly inspiring me to do my best. I dedicate this title to everyone who dreams to be on top one day, and it is never impossible if you work hard for what you want to achieve and you love what you do” Margo said. 

Cooper has been living in the UAE for 2 years now and a household name in the UAE modeling scene. She has previously worked with big fashion shows such as Fashion Forward and appeared in several print and ad campaigns of popular brands.

“This title is both an honour and a responsibility, I hope that my victory will serve as an awareness for world peace and unity. I admire UAE for being one of the friendliest country to every nation and we should all do the same to our neighbors” the Top Model of the World winner added, who also took home a grand prize of 10.000 USD / + 5.000 USD for a Shooting for the EMMI FLY Magazine next month. The 10.000 USD was be divided into two, the first 5,000 after the contest and 5.000 after she give the title to her follower in 2017. 

2016 will marked the 23 edition of the WBOS’s Pageant, which began in 1993 in Miami / USA. For 3 consecutive years it was a fixed place in the annual show-calendar of the USA, produced by the „Globana Group“ and its President, the brother of former Tennis Pro, Goran Ivanisevic. In 1996 the pageant went first time outside of the USA and was in Germany and so attracted extensive media worldwide and provided a major opportunity for Sponsors and Partners to showcase their products to the entire world.
