Handcrafted one-of-a-kind art works that aim to be conversation-starters 

Dubai, UAE, October 23, 2016:    Interiors announces its participation in this year’s Downtown Design and will showcase the collection from Bernhardt Interiors, a division of Bernhardt Furniture Company, one of the largest, family-run furniture companies in North America with a longstanding history of creating beautiful and lavish concepts for the home.

A number of original handcrafted pieces will be displayed during the three-day exhibition, taking place from October 25 to 28 at Dubai Design District. 

Fully committed to the concept of artful furniture, Bernhardt Interiors is a thoughtfully curated collection of eclectic, high-end furnishings for customers to express themselves in their homes. As a general rule, Bernhardt Interiors treats each space as an architectural wardrobe – elegant, varied and easy to live with. 

A notable collection is the Neo Noir, grounded in edgy variations of black. The pieces and combinations are studies in light, colour and atmosphere, in the attempt to create a dark, sensory and plush environment.

There are fixtures decked out in gold to add a touch of elegance and seduction to any room. These gold metals and finishes are simply and boldly applied—sometimes all gold everywhere, sometimes paired with ivory coloured elements, often in bold patterns with abstract qualities.

Artful creations reflect a new approach in home design that upholds many modernist ideals: home as the focus of design reform, artistic originality, the aesthetic of artisanal workmanship, emphasis on process and truth to materials.

As part of that intention, we’re introducing a number of original handworked pieces that will be one-of-a-kind art works and conversation-starters in people’s homes.”
