Deputy Ruler of Dubai Visits Ajman Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2016

Ajman Government pavilion at Gitex Technological Week 2016 was abuzz with activities on the first day of this week-long event, being held at World Trade Centre, Dubai. The state of the art pavilion hosts twelve government entities in the Emirates of Ajman, which have worked relentlessly to ensure hi-end technologically advanced apps and services are at the fingertips of the consumers.

The departments include Ajman E-Government, Ajman Tourism Development, Ajman Economic Department, Ajman Planning and Municipality, Ajman Police GHQ, Ajman Public Transport, Ministry of Interior, Ajman Chamber, Ajman Land and Property, Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Department of Finance and Humaid bin Rashid Al Noaimi Foundation.

During the official tour of GITEX 2016 His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai visited the Ajman Pavilion and was warmly welcomed by H.E. Ohoud Ali Shuhail, Executive Director of Ajman E-Government, they toured the government entities stand and was briefed about the various applications and e-services to be launched on this platform.

Ajman Chamber will launch the Business Map of Ajman amongst other programs and applications. The online service of attestation “TASDEEQ” was launched by Ajman Municipality and Planning Department. These services amongst others will be launched during this week by other government bodies which are working in tandem to ensure e-services are at the disposal of the consumers and residents of the Emirates of Ajman.

Within the same framework, Ajman Economic Department signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Ajman Civil Defense to mutually benefit the community and improve the services. There was a similar Memorandum of Cooperation between Economic Department and Public Transport wherein they agreed to provide better facilities for the community of Ajman.
