The exhibition celebrates its 6th edition as the Official Italian Pavilion for the second consecutive year within Dubai Downtown Design

Dubai, UAE, October 27, 2016:  The Italian Luxury Interiors-ILI Exhibition is back in Dubai to celebrate its 6th edition running from 25 to 28 October this year. The 4-day showcase on excellence in Italian furniture and complements in the UAE returns as the Official Italian Pavilion at Dubai Downtown Design, d3.

The Pavilion is organized by the Italian Trade Agency - ITA - Trade Promotion Office of the Italian Embassy, in cooperation with the CNA and Confartigianato (Italian Association of Artisans and Small-Medium Enterprises).

On show at the ILI Exhibition this year, a tight circle of firms working in areas spanning from furniture to textiles and lighting, displaying a vast assortment of materials such as leather, marble, ceramic, glass, and iron.

The ILI Exhibition is definitely the ideal venue to embrace the essence of Italian style and luxury expressed through peerless pieces of interior design crafted by iconic Italian brands and designers.

Sixteen Italian companies are attending this year’s Exhibition: 13Ricrea, Barbara Calvo Design, Bongio, Borzalino, Dr.Vranjes Firenze, Fantini Mosaici, L'Opificio, Luigi Sartori, Mabele by Ma-Bo, Made a Mano, Maison Claire, Manifestodesign, Matteo Brioni, Nerosicilia, Vetrart, Vetrogiardini.

“Italian Luxury Interiors-ILI has steadily grown since 2010 to become the perfect location in the UAE to admire the very best of Italian interior design. The Italian handicrafts legacy is extremely important for us and the UAE represents the ideal partner to drive the export of premium “Made in Italy” products to the Gulf region”, said Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, Oman and Pakistan.

Italian export of furniture and furnishing complements to the UAE has grown steadily over the past three years (+11% in 2013, +6.5% in 2014, +42.6% in 2015), accounting for 3.8% of the overall export value (all sectors), and making Italy the second supplier of furniture in this Country. Latest figures (Jan-June 2015 - Jan-June 2016) show an increase YoY of +15.6% for a total of almost 100 million euros.

The 2016 ILI Exhibition will run from October 25th to 28th in the context of Downtown Design and will be held at Dubai Design District, d3. The exhibition will be open from 6pm to 9pm on 25th October, from 1:30pm to 6pm for trade and from 6pm to 9pm for the general public on 28th and 29th October, and to everyone from 1:30 to 9pm on its last day, 28th October.
