
L'Oréal Named the Most Attractive Employer in the FMCG Sector in UAE and KSA
Dubai, UAE, November 16, 2016 – L’Oréal has been voted as the most attractive employer for business students amongst Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, in the UAE and KSA. Over 12,600 students, of different majors, from 43 universities participated in Universum’s “Most Attractive Employers Ranking” survey.
The survey offered comprehensive insights into students’ views on their future careers, prospect employers, in addition to what they consider as the most important factors in their employment decision. Amongst Business students, L’Oréal ranked as 8th most attractive employer across all sectors, up from number 9 in 2015. Whereas in KSA, Business students ranked L’Oréal as 8th most attractive employer, up from 11 in 2015.
The annual survey commenced in November 2015 and ended by May 2016. During this period 12,637 students were surveyed. 7,637 were from 30 UAE universities, including: UAE University, Zayed University, and American University of Sharjah. While in KSA, the survey covered 5,000 students from 13 universities, including: King Saud University, Effat University, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Dar Al-Hekma University.
L’Oréal, who receives more than 1.3 million job applications each year, is recognized by candidates for assigning high responsibilities early-on and offering diversified career paths.
