Abu Dhabi (November 23, 2016) – Advanced Conferences & Meetings (ACM) proudly launched the 2nd Annual Air Quality & Noise Control GCC on Wednesday at Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi, UAE. This event constitutes a platform for the regulators, industry stakeholders, air monitoring and noise control equipment and solution providers.

The 2nd Annual Air Quality & Noise Control GCC brought together environmental experts from government, industry, transport, hospitality and healthcare sector.

The conference started with the opening remarks of the chairman Dr. Marouane Temimi from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology followed by many exciting presentations among which we can mention: “UAE integrated approach in achieving better air quality: A roadmap to 2021” by Eng. Aisha Alabdooli from Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (UAE), “Air quality helps reducing health matters' queue” by Dr. Nashat Nafouri from Healthcare Interest Group,  “The role of IAQ in enhancing visitor experience and employee performance in the hospitality sector” by Eng. Irina Kurbatova from Emirates Palace, “Addressing the challenges of architectural acoustic design in major cities of the gulf region” by Maro Puljizevic from Al Mana & Associates.

The conference provided two informative panel discussions on developing national standards and criteria for ambient noise levels and on developing the roadmap and techniques towards delivering national air quality aspirations.

The first day of Air Quality & Noise Control GCC conference created the perfect platform for the attendees to build relations, exchange ideas and seize business opportunities throughout the ACMi+ interface that allowed for many networking breaks which created a dynamic, efficient and relevant learning environment.
