Walid Atallah Wows with his Bridal Collection at 'The Ajman Palace Hotel Wedding Fair 2017'
There is nothing sweeter than romance. And last evening internationally acclaimed fashion designer Walid Atallah set hearts aflutter at The Ajman Palace Hotel Wedding Fair with his spectacular Spring/Summer Bridal Collection that was full of show-stoppers. Organised in association with The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) and co-sponsored by Ajman Bank and 2XL Furniture & Home Décor, the stunning evening brought together UAE’s A-list glitterati including some top celebrities from the region.
Each dress on the catwalk held its own ethereal essence and was as delicate as a spring flower. Every single gown was head-turningly, heart-stoppingly beautiful. Inspired from the spring palette of ‘pink petals’, the collection charmed the audiences with the old-world romance. Glittering flock tulle trains, sparkling beaded lace and cascading tiered skirts were all running elements throughout the collection. In line with the latest trends, there were plenty of form-fitting fish cut silhouettes too.
Commenting on his collection Walid Atallah stated, “The Walid Atallah Spring/Summer Bridal Collection 2017 is a walk through a spring garden with blossoming rosebuds that evoke a sense of femininity and romance. It is inspired by the beauty and sensuality of the pink rose flourishing as the morning sun rises. And the romantic setting at The Ajman Palace Hotel was just perfect to unveil it”.
With over 50 shows, held across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, USA, Canada and Europe, to his credit, Walid Atallah holds numerous accomplishments including the Guinness Book Record for the World’s Most Expensive Wedding Dress worth US$ 1.25 million that he designed for a Princess from Saudi Arabia. He was also the very first international and Arab designer to co-design Rolls Royce ‘Phantom Rayan’ carrying ‘Walid Atallah’ signature.
His grandeur and fantasy is well-known among society swans and celeb sweethearts. Among Walid’s elite clientele are not just the region’s rich and famous but also many Princesses and top celebrities such as Warda Al Jazairia, Majida el Roumi, May Hariri, Diana Haddad, Haifa Wehbi, Nawal el Zoghbi, Latifa and Sherine Abdel Wahab to name a few.
