Smart Dubai and ENOC Sign MOU to Promote the Smart Dubai Initiative

UAE, February 8, 2017 - The Smart Dubai Office and ENOC signed an MOU to increase coordination between ENOC and Smart Dubai on the city’s smart transformation objectives. The MOU will promote cooperation, effective communication and reciprocal facilitation between the parties in alignment with the goal of the Smart Dubai initiative, to promote seamless and efficient city experiences in all aspects of city life, powered by smart technology.

Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr, Director General of the Smart Dubai Office, said: “Smart Dubai envisions a city where all daily life experiences become easier, faster and more rewarding, with the use of smart technology. To accomplish our vision, we must work together across all sectors. As a leading petroleum company in Dubai, ENOC will be a valued partner in promoting new solutions and services, and shared data, that will contribute to enriched experiences for all customers. ENOC has already demonstrated support for our vision, with the example of the VIP service for cashless payments at fuel stations, and we look forward to continued support from ENOC as a result of this partnership.” 

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: “Our partnership with Smart Dubai Office underlines our commitment to align with and contribute to the vision of H.H. As part of the MOU, ENOC will be promoting smart services aligned with the Smart Dubai initiative across all its stations. In accordance to the Dubai Data Law announced by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, ENOC will also be providing non-financial support in the form of data transfer to the Dubai Data Establishment who will analyze and share the data with the city through the Dubai Data Portal.
