‘Emotion & Motion’ exhibition taking place from 3rd to 11th February 2017.

Dubai, UAE, February 9, 2017:  A unique photographic exhibition featuring the untold stories of Saudi culture and scenery is on display this week at a new creative, community space in Dubai. 

As part of Cadillac’s continued efforts to inspire people to dare greatly, Khazzan X Cadillac is a space in Al Khazzan Park created for people to come together and share bold ideas, creativity and culture. The exhibition, which was launched last weekend and will run to February 11, is by Hussain Daghriri, a storytelling photographer from Saudi Arabia who collaborated with Cadillac to capture the culture of Southern region of Saudi Arabia. 

The first exhibition at the space by Hussain – ‘Emotion & Motion’, is a collection of beautifully captured images of Saudi Arabian folklore that he experienced firsthand on his recent 5,000km road trip across Southern Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Cadillac. The journey took him to a number of different historical and cultural areas.

“Cadillac is a brand that caters to the new generation, who appreciate design and technology and look for ways to stand out from the crowd,”  said Nadim Ghrayeb Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, Cadillac Middle East.

“The whole concept behind Khazzan x Cadillac is a bold idea in itself. We are about celebrating breaking boundaries and self-expression. The park is an urban platform that facilitates and encourages young talent like Hussain Daghriri, to showcase their point of view, their work and their creativity,” said Ghrayeb. 

Hussain Daghriri commented during the opening of the exhibition, “My trip to the Southern region of Saudi Arabia was a memorable one, experiencing and capturing the rich culture of the region, including various folklore dances. Khazzan X Cadillac is the ideal platform for my exhibition to educate the region of the Saudi culture.” 

Khazzan X Cadillac, the first solar powered park in the region has complete flexibility for what the community needs. Featuring an extensive library, a café, a multi-purpose courtyard, workshop spaces and art gallery space. This year’s calendar of events include a diverse ranges of activities and services, many of which have no charge, such as artisan workshops, yoga sessions, art galleries, public talks and markets.

The Khazzan team and Cadillac aim to position the space as a catalyst to develop Dubai’s urban culture by bringing the community together, building a platform for young entrepreneurs and professionals, this year's calendar of events includes a diverse range of cultural, educational and entertaining events, as addition to a number of art and literature workshops, fitness activities, public talks and markets.
