Face reading enables us to understand a person better, and can be used in our personal lives and work environment, says professional face reader

Dubai-UAE: 13 February, 2017:  Day 2 of the World Government Summit (WGS 2017) got off to an energizing start with a session on face reading titled ‘Wake-Up Call: The Universal Language We All Speak’, led by Eric Standop, a professional face reader. Standop offered interesting insight on how face reading not only helps us connect with one another beyond language and cultural barriers, but can also be used in the workplace to help understand someone better.

There are six billion people on the planet, and yet every face is different. Eric Standop said: “Whatever you eat, whatever you drink, whatever you experience, whatever you go through – changes your face.”

He explained that a face is unique to every individual and can reveal personality, health and character, and that our life experiences can change how our face looks. Face reading is the science and art of interpreting the different facets of who we are and how we feel, and is a powerful tool we can use in our daily life and in the work environment. He noted that this was a skill that could significantly assist dieticians, business leaders, police officers and even politicians in their work.

Although language has been around for 30,000 years and has helped us connect, Eric Standop believed that it could also be a barrier or create disconnect. At the same time, face reading is universal, and allows us to connect beyond languages and differences. He explained that the eyes and mouth are the most important and revealing of our features – and are directly connected to our brain via the facial nerves, which reveal how we think and feel.

He noted that the 43 muscles in our face reveal a great deal, and can be read to detect malnutrition and diseases as well as more personal characteristics such as talent, thoughts and event emotions. In closing, Eric Standop said: “The face is a book where one writes a lifetime. Look more closely into the faces of others to learn more about them.”

The World Government Summit (WGS) 2017 has drawn the participation of more than 4,000 personalities from 139 countries around the world, reflecting the leading stature of the summit on regional and international levels and the high interest from governments, global organizations, private and public sector entities, decision makers, entrepreneurs, academics and university students as well as scientists and innovators. WGS 2017 features 150 speakers across 114 sessions that highlight the world’s most pressing challenges and showcase best practices and cutting-edge solutions to deal with them.
