PSA Group inaugurated its first regional headquarters in the 'Dubai Airport Free Zone' (DAFZ) to promote the group’s presence in the region. 

Dubai, UAE, March 19, 2017:  The high-profile event was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni; Director General of the Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA), UAE’s celebrated rally driver Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, Jean-Christophe Quémard, Executive Vice-President; Africa-Middle East of PSA Group and Cedric Zayoun; Managing Director of the GCC  region at PSA Group.

Welcoming PSA Group to DAFZA, Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni said: “The opening of PSA Group new facilities in DAFZA is a welcome addition to the diverse range of high-value and leading brands that have chosen to set up their offices here. Jean-Christophe Quémard, highlighted the Group’s regional strategy, stated: “The GCC region is amongst the most important markets for the Group, where establishing tangible growth is a top priority. We have set a target of selling 1 Million vehicles by 2025 in Middle East and Africa. Our Push to Pass strategy continues to prove a great success with quality and innovative products being some of the main ingredients; and the European Car of the Year award for the all-New Peugeot 3008 SUV, is one of our greatest achievements under this strategy.” 

Cedric Zayoun, Managing Director of the GCC region at PSA Group, added that the new regional headquarters of the Group in DAFZA contributes to consolidate PSA Group relations with existing and future customers. “Benefiting from the multiple advantages provided by DAFZA, combined with providing the necessary support for all authorized distributors in the region, will in turn improve product supply and after-sales service. We are thrilled to officially announce that the Peugeot 3008 SUV, will be launched in the local market in May 2017.
