UAE, March 21, 2017- Arabia CSR Network, the Middle East region's leading training service provider and think tank, is set to highlight the significant role played by stakeholders across many of today's organisations in a special one-day workshop to be held on April 9, 2017 in Dubai. The workshop will cover key sessions aimed at throwing the spotlight on the importance of stakeholder engagement and the many benefits and advantages to be gained from it.

According to Arabia CSR Network, the workshop is intended for professionals working in the fields of CSR, sustainability, marketing, communications and those with direct interactions with stakeholder constituencies. Participants will be able to learn more about stakeholder engagement, which includes the need to fully understand the current and future needs of stakeholder groups, regulators, shareholders, customers and other essential members of the community. Engagement can lead to potential opportunities that in turn, aligns business practices with society needs and expectations--increasing long-term sustainability and shareholder value in the process.

Habiba Al Marashi, President and CEO, Arabia CSR Network, said, “Today's organisations work closely with a complex web of stakeholders, which drives the urgent need for these groups to understand the increasingly urgent part played by stakeholder engagement process and the benefits to reap from it. To address this challenge, we are holding this special one-day event to help professionals gain essential knowledge on characteristics and features of stakeholder engagement. The workshop demonstrates our continuing commitment towards helping develop professional expertise through trainings in CSR and sustainability.”

During the workshop, participants will be coached on how to map stakeholders to the circles of interest and influence, what kind of factors influence effective consultation, how to manage a successful dialogue with different stakeholders and how to utilize stakeholder engagement as a key tool for long term collaboration. Sessions will also cover timely and important topics such as stakeholder mapping, stakeholder dynamics, stakeholder theory, stakeholder analysis and engagement, stakeholder dialogue, basic principles of collaboration and prioritising CSR issues.
