Dubai, March 29, 2017:  Dr. Franics Xavier who pioneered the memory movement is all set to make his debut in the UAE. Addressing the press Dr. Xavier said that his debut seminar in the region, ‘Ignite the spark of genius in your child’ will be held on Friday, 31st March at Grand Excelsior, Dubai. This will be followed by seminars in Sharjah on 1st April. Dubai and Sharjah will see him conducting two seminar sessions on each day.“ Dr. Xavier is a noted teacher on memory improvement and is regarded as the Father of the popular Memory Filing System Technique. His seminars help participants to develop extraordinary memory. 

“A good memory gives immense confidence and helps to face the academic as well as professional challenges in a proactive manner. There are two kinds of memory systems people can use. One is the conventional method, using rote learning based on repetition. The other is based on creative visualization, which uses imagination and picturization. This is useful, both short-term and long-term. I have innovated a technique using this called the Memory Filing System or MFS. My technique is a mental tool and can be used by anyone. A person with average intelligence can do it in a week and an intelligent person in two days. MFS acts like a filing system. Through this, facts can be stored in the memory and retrieved without difficulty when needed, using creative memory methods. One can even remember a 100-digit number using the technique. Most people use only a fraction of their mental capacities. One needs to develop one's capacities by removing mental blocks. And that's what my training programmes motivate people to do,” said Dr. Xavier.

‘My seminars in Dubai and Sharjah are meant for students of all Grades who are studying in the UAE. The students who want to take part in the seminars must be accompanied by their parents. I want the children to understand that they have the potential to achieve much more than what they believe. My seminars provide a platform for children and their parents to understand what I will be offering in my workshops that take place. Having conducted innumerable seminars over the past 55 years in various countries including India, USA, Canada, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania etc., the objective of his visit to Dubai is to conduct training programs for students by offering a variety of techniques that will enable them to secure very high marks in their exams. It will also help them to improve their personality through several soft skills.

Dr. Xavier demonstrated amazing memory techniques during the press conference. His memory demonstrations on various aspects are worth witnessing. He can register and reproduce even 100 digit numbers within a short spell of 7 – 8 minutes. In addition, he is also able to remember more than one hundred telephone numbers, four hundred stories, the entire periodical table with atomic weight and several other things. He is also capable of remembering 2200 years calendar. Further he is able to reproduce the first Sunday of the month for all these 2200 yrs (1800 – 4000 AD). 

A college mate of Dr. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, he has received gold medal at the hands of the late Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of India. He has authored 15 books on a variety of subjects in English published by well reputed international publishers like Tata McGraw Hill, McMillian, Jaico, Pustak Mahal and ATC
