  • This unique recruitment program will offer one young engineer studying in the UAE a 12-month placement with INFINITI and the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team

Dubai, UAE, May 11, 2017:  The deadline for applications draws close for the 2017 edition of the INFINITI Engineering Academy - INFINITI’s global search for the best and brightest engineering talent.

Now in its fourth successive year, the Academy will once again offer one engineering student currently enrolled in the UAE an unparalleled opportunity to join a 12-month placement working on both automotive and Formula One™ technologies, thanks to the technical partnership and strong collaboration between INFINITI Motor Company and the Renault Sport Formula OneTM Team.

Engineering students can now apply at academy.infiniti.com  Applicants will have to complete an online engineering puzzle test, designed by puzzle and brainteaser experts Brilliant.org, as part of a multi-stage recruitment process. The best applicants will then be invited to participate in a final event that will take place in the UAE later in the year, where ten finalists will compete to secure their place.

The selected student from the UAE will join another six young engineers, one from each of the other participating regions (Asia & Oceania, Canada, China, Europe, Mexico and United States). The seven winners will move to the UK to work at the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team Technical Centre (Enstone) and the INFINITI European Engineering Center (Cranfield) for a career opportunity of a lifetime, complete with travel, accommodation, access to an INFINITI company car, a salary and the possibility to work alongside world-leading engineers at the cutting edge of the automotive and motorsport industries.

Having launched the careers of previous winners, the INFINITI Engineering Academy is THE technical recruitment initiative in Formula OneTM. Former Academy Engineers William Priest and Daniel Sanham have both secured full time jobs with INFINITI Motor Company and the Renault Sport Formula OneTM Team respectively after completing their placements, and are an inspiration to this year’s students who will be looking to emulate their success.
