Dubai, UAE, May 14, 2017:  Le Specs LUXE Nucleus collection. A dedication to advanced technical elements and innovative materials has led to a collection of foundation finishes and trend-setting shapes. The collection draws on the minimalism style of the 1990s, reinvented for a modern wearer excited by fashion-forward design and custom detail.

The foundation for this season is a campaign that highlights the clean graphic lines, simplicity and assured nature of a subtly detailed eyewear collection. Photographer Dave McKelvey has come together with Le Specs to tell the LUXE springtime story, on this occasion with two new faces: Gemma Ossen and Kane Alexander. Moments are captured against a backdrop both graphic and natural, objects are reflected in high quality lenses and the crisp white basis balances with movement achieved under Sophie Robert’s artistic direction, as the final component of the seasonal nuclear team.

“Advances in metal applications is the focus of the Luxe collection this season. New faceted metal textures have been developed and applied to cool and nineties shapes, and also the classic aviator silhouette. The palette is pared back, with muted tones of burgundy and tan against soft mirror lenses that make a statement, yet still feel effortless.” Hamish Tame, designer.

Shapes are reinvented for a modern era, including the unique teardrop shape of the Bazaar, alongside the faceted detail of metal rims. All styles are available in a timeless palette of black, silver and gold as well as an update of the mirror lens with graduated treatments of rose, garnet, burgundy, gold and smoke hues. The neutral shades of Katoch are introduced, with a translucent matte effect of sand and ochre tones, signalling a new direction in matte detailing for the brand.
The collection presents an overall smaller silhouette that speaks to the continued revival of 90s style with an unexpected twist on colour.

Le Specs LUXE continues to present a sleeker and more sartorially elevated interpretation of fashion accessories through innovative frame materials and elegant finishes. The designs have been spotted on international trend-makers Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Justin Bieber and Lena Terlutter.

Le Specs LUXE Nucleus collection will be available at all leading department stores, fashion retailers and online.
