Abu Dhabi, UAE, 15 May 2017: Oil and gas leaders from across the UAE are set to come together in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, 16 May, as part of the 2nd ISA UAE Automation Conference and Exhibition 2017 to discuss automation and digitization enabled efficiency and growth opportunities for the country’s process industries.

Organized by DMS Global in partnership with the International Society of Automation (ISA), the event is taking place from 16-17 May at St. Regis Nation Tower, Corniche. The conference provides an important platform for automation professionals, equipment manufacturers and service providers to explore new strategies and solutions and showcase the latest products and most recent technical innovation in this area.

Qasem Al Kayoumi, the Technical Centre Manager at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is set to deliver a keynote speech on the opening day.

According to DMS Global, the industrial operations and automation landscape in the UAE is evolving rapidly, with the industry undergoing its biggest transformation since the industrial revolution.  A new wave of technologies will make industrial operations more efficient, more connected and more secure.  We will see greater connectivity with a more advanced human to technology collaboration where every button, every pixel, every computer is part of a digital network, within companies and beyond.

“Sharing best practice, research, and innovation has never been more important to the automation industry than it is today,” said Mohammed Loch, President & CEO - DMS Global. “The oil and gas sector is witnessing a major transformation marked by a strong focus on innovation, efficiency and safety. As such, organizations and companies recognize that they need to adapt their business strategies to embrace this change. Following the success of the 1st ISA UAE Automation Conference and Exhibition in 2016, we expect this year’s event to be even bigger, and we are proud to be hosting this go-to event for the latest developments in the automation industry.”
