Dubai-UAE: 03 June, 2017 – The General Department of Organizations Protective Security and Emergency (OPSE) – Events Security Committee (ESC), represented by Brigadier Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the General Department of OPSE at Dubai Police and Chairman of ESC, has awarded Reed Exhibitions Middle East with an appreciation plaque in recognition of the success of the Major Events Safety & Security Summit (ME3S 2017).

Brigadier Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, met with a delegation from Reed Exhibitions, led by Ara Fernezian, Managing Director, Reed Exhibitions Middle East, to mutually award the successes from ME3S 2017 and discuss opportunities for extending the collaboration between the two parties during the eighth International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018) and Dubai’s Airport Show 2018.

He stressed the significance of collaboration with security forces, venue representatives, major event organisers and solution providers in living up to the UAE’s efforts of becoming the world’s most preferred event destination.

For her part, Meline Eolmezian-Soulie, Group Exhibition Director of the Security & Safety Portfolio at Reed Exhibitions, said: “We are proud of this recognition by Dubai Police. She added: “Reed Exhibitions tailors its events to include industry demands – as a result, most of our specialised events are only open to relevant parties, global and local stakeholders, concerned solution providers, buyers and international specialists. We welcome advancing our synergies with Dubai Police and look forward to their support in upcoming events.”
