Dubai, United Arab Emirates August 2, 2017:  The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced during the weekly ‘Leaders at Your Service’ initiative that the Authority will continue to focus on public health awareness.

Leaders at Your Service initiative provides an opportunity for the public to express their feedback, suggestions and complaints to senior DHA leaders.

It provides customers with a direct platform to communicate with the leaders of the DHA and give their suggestions, feedback or complaints.

Ghanim Lootah, Director of Institutional Marketing and Communications Department at the DHA
addressed queries received via phone calls during the live one hour initiative. He discussed various topics related to public health awareness through various media and marketing tools.

He highlighted that the Authority has collaborated with the private sector to raise public health awareness and education through various methods such as a weekly health newspaper in English and Arabic, a dedicated radio show, through TV and social media channels as well as through health awareness campaigns that target all sections of the society.

He also highlighted that DHA has a number of health apps, which are aimed to provide the public with valuable health information, which they can access at their convenience.

The apps include the Tifli( my baby) app which is available on apple store and google play. It provides information for pregnant women from preconception until the child is five years.
