Abu Dhabi-UAE: 5 August, 2017:  Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has announced the launch of internationally accredited master’s and doctoral programs at its newly opened campus in Dubai in the academic year 2017-18.

All business degree programs offered at ADU’s campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are locally accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The programs have also earned international accreditations from the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management and Development (EFMD).

Professor Waqar Ahmad, Provost at ADU, said: “Ensuring sustainable development and maintaining global competitiveness requires a continuous supply of talent equipped with the leadership skills necessary to drive change and progress. Universities play a key role in developing this talent and preparing future industry leaders to steer economic transformation.”

He added: “The MBA programs offered across ADU’s campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai provide a great opportunity to attain a world-class postgraduate degree without having to travel abroad.”

ADU’s MBA programs engage students through a blend of methods including case studies, exercises, discussions, group work, simulations, and lectures. The multifaceted teaching approach maximizes the learning experience while preparing graduates to manage, motivate, innovate and lead.

The MBA programs at ADU offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules that are ideal for working professionals who seek career growth. The general MBA program comprises 30 credit hours across eight core courses and two electives.

In addition to the general MBA, ADU’s College of Business offers 33 credit hours’ MBA programs with concentrations on Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, as well as Aviation Management. Other programs at ADU in the academic year 2017-18 include Master of Strategic Leadership (MSL) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). The University also offers a dual degree – Executive Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Global Business – in collaboration with the University of Tampa in the US.
