Inspired by a market basket Michael spotted while on vacation in Corsica, the Bancroft evokes practical, timeless glamour. 

“I wanted to design a bag that blended the casual functionality of a market basket with urban polish—an elevated, everyday, everywhere bag. Because there’s nothing more sophisticated than understated elegance,” says Michael Kors. 

The Bancroft is made from the highest quality European-sourced smooth and pebbled leathers and an array of exotic finishes and trims. The thoughtfully designed interior includes zipper and flat pockets plus Italian cotton-twill lining. Side gussets snap in or out, altering the shape of the bag for a versatile sensibility, while the polished lock hardware is reminiscent of a classic train case. 

The Bancroft is available in four styles—medium satchel, large satchel, weekender and tote—each designed with pragmatic appeal and a spirit of inimitable chic.
