Western Digital Launches Surveillance Storage Provider Certification Program in UAE

Dubai, UAE, September 10, 2017:  Western Digital, a world leader in storage solutions, has launched the Surveillance Storage Certified Surveillance Reseller Program in the UAE, designed to offer a comprehensive lineup of benefits for the security and surveillance channel providers.

The myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Program is a tailor-made initiative that aims to offer training, sales support, value added benefits and incentives to security and surveillance system integrators, installers, solution and service providers to help them enhance their business opportunities and profitability.

The announcement came as a recent report by Research and Markets anticipated the video surveillance storage market to grow at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 22.41 percent to reach USD $18.28 billion by 2020, as enterprises and governments across the world continue to switch from traditional analogue-based solutions to IP technology.

“The myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Program will offer our partners the opportunity to capitalize on the wide-range of WD Purple and WD Purple NV surveillance storage solutions, engineered for 24/7 always-on, high-definition surveillance systems. With so many new opportunities emerging in the security and surveillance industry, the program is aimed at helping our ever expanding partner base effectively tap into the growing market for video surveillance storage and extend world class products, service and support to ensure their customer objectives are effectively delivered on. The program is designed to extend channel partners the industry-relevant education, sales and marketing support to drive their business in this rapidly growing market.”

Eligible partners will be provided in-depth product training to receive a WD Surveillance Storage Provider Program certificate. In addition, partners will have access to sales support through a dedicated account manager from Western Digital, exclusive member promotions, regular product updates in addition to in-store POS marketing material.
