The sports academy will be launched under the umbrella of Zenith Sports Academy LLC

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, September 13th 2017:  A major breakthrough in sports is set to hit the UAE with the launch of an all-round sports institute - RS Sports Academy. The new establishment will be launched by former Indian Cricketer - Robin Singh under Zenith Sports Academy LLC, a newly established sports management company also managed by Robin Singh.

As a first step, RS Sports Academy will offer cricket coaching for young talented players of the UAE. This will soon follow coaching in other sports, physical fitness and other related activities. Additionally, Zenith Sports Academy LLC will host tournaments, organize events and offer expert solutions in sports celebrity management, engagement, promotions and artist coordination for events.

“It has been my vision to set up an academy to support the budding talent of UAE, and RS Sports Academy will ensure that every talented child has the opportunity to pursue their dreams of playing at the highest level” said Robin Singh, CEO of RS Sports Academy.

“While we’ve already charted a well-defined and competitive pathway to coach the fantastic talent pool of the UAE, I will be relocating to Dubai starting September to personally oversee the operation of the academy as its CEO,” added Robin Singh.

Robin Singh has more than 15 years of coaching experience and is currently the coach of the IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians. He will bring in international level coaches from India, West Indies, South Africa and other countries to join his team of coaches. The coaching team will also be supported by data analysts, physiotherapists and physical fitness trainers.

This is for the first time that an international cricketer has committed to be based in Dubai and personally be involved in the day-to-day coaching and operation. Students who sign up for the academy will hence have the opportunity to be coached personally by Robin Singh.

“Launching RS Sports Academy is certainly exciting, but comes with a responsibility to train the next generation of champions. Fun and innovation in technology is the core of our operations at RS Academy and I am confident that the sports academy will not just develop and inspire the children’s skills, but also inspire them to discover the champion within themselves” said Robin Singh.

RS Sports Academy will tie up with select schools in Dubai and operate from the school’s premises during and after school hours. World-class coaching will be offered to students of the school and outside, allowing them to play to their potential. Students will have the opportunity to participate in international level tournaments and play in countries including England, South Africa, India, West Indies, Hong Kong and other countries. They will also have the opportunity to train with international cricketers and coaches through the academy’s tie ups with international cricket leagues including Hong Kong, South Africa, Caribbean and India.

“RS Sports Academy will employ technology and video analytics used by international teams to assist the coaches. The academy is in advanced talks to launch at five to six schools in Dubai and will look to tie up with another three-four schools by the end of the year,” concluded Robin Singh.

The UAE is well positioned to lead the global circuit in the education sector. The country has the largest private education market globally, with 589 private schools and 700,000 students according to report by Alpen Capital, making it a top destination for extra-curricular and academic activities.

The launch of RS Sports Academy will take place later this month and the legendary cricketer is expected to be present for the inauguration as well to impart his knowledge to the budding cricketers.
