ADNOC Distribution wins ‘UAE Superbrand' award for the fourth consecutive year
Accolade recognizes company’s market-leading position as fuel and services provider
Abu Dhabi, 25 September, 2017: ADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s leading operator of service stations and convenience stores, has received a ‘UAE Superbrand’ award for 2017. This marks the fourth consecutive year the company has achieved Superbrand status.
Mohammed Al Zaabi, Acting Senior Vice President of Retail Sales Group at ADNOC Distribution, received the award at a ceremony hosted by the Superbrands Council. Superbrands is the largest independent global body evaluating and recognizing corporate branding and positioning.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “We are honored to receive this award as a testament to the quality and distinctiveness of our brand, which has evolved over the decades and will continue to do so. As part of ADNOC Group, one of the world’s leading energy companies, we see this award as recognition of our role in catalyzing the growth and development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.”
“I would like to congratulate all the staff of ADNOC Distribution and thank them for their hard work in sustaining and strengthening our customers’ faith in the company as a trusted provider of products and services in the UAE and beyond. In keeping with this recognition of our branding strength, we will continue to focus on innovation and growth to deliver greater choice, convenience and service to customers while growing our business and seeking new markets.”
The Superbrand award recognizes ADNOC Distribution’s focus on enhancing the quality and range of its services as it meets rising demand from UAE vehicle users while also developing overseas markets.
Each year, Superbrands are determined from a shortlist created by the Superbrands Council. The shortlist is then submitted to online voting. Only the brands that receive the highest scores are deemed Superbrands.
ADNOC Distribution is the UAE’s leading operator of retail fuel service stations and is the sole retail fuel operator in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Every month, more than 20 million visits are paid to ADNOC Distribution's network of retail service stations in Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain.
