UAE, September 27, 2017- On the 1st of coming November, the Department of Economic Development – Ajman will host the activities of the fourth edition of Emirates Economic Planning Forum at Emirates Hospitality Center (EHC), United Arab Emirates, Ajman under a the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the ruler of the Emirate of Ajman and a member of the UAE Supreme Council of the Union with a strategic support of Ministry of Economy and Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi. 

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the ruler of the Emirate of Ajman, will attend the inaugural session of the forum in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, the Chairman of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi and chairmen of departments of economic development as well as a number of senior government officials. 

Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Economic Development Department – Ajman, has pointed that that the edition of the current forum that is going to take place for two days in a row is an extension of the previous editions that were organized by emirate of Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm al-Quwain. He has also added that the edition of forum hosted by emirate of Ajman under the title “Overseeing the future in light of new economic changes” strives to complete the translation of the forum slogan “Integration, planning and partnership” into action. It also presents the new economic changes along with related effects created by such changes and discusses the means of reinforcing the economic and competitive development in the UAE. Furthermore, it also investigates the plans and programs for attracting investment in the country based on the real situation of its various experiences in the field. Also the forum touches upon the development planning for the emirate of Ajman and the endeavors it seeks to achieve as well. 

Moreover, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi has also stated that Department of Economic Development – Ajman seeks to benefit from hosting the edition of the forum for this year by highlighting the aspects of economic development in the emirate of Ajman, its development projects in such various fields and its participation in all other departments of economic development as well. 

He has also made it clear that UAE Economic Planning Forum started to represent a key economic planning process on the local and federal level as part of the UAE strategic vision 2021 and its general economic approaches requiring creation of high level coordination between economic plans across the UAE. 

Furthermore, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi has also mentioned that the general objectives for the UAE Economic Planning Forum are based on the importance of strengthening ties of economic cooperation, partnership and coordination between all emirates. The purpose of doing that is to maximize the added value of the development planning process and ensure that economic plans are complete. In addition, he has also reaffirmed that Department of Economic Development – Ajman is keen on achieving such objectives by participating in the forum activities and striving to doing so in such a manner that could contribute to come up with recommendations and initiatives that could enhance the emirate of Ajman effective contribution in the permanent economic development of the country.
