Dubai, UAE; October 05, 2017:  2XL, the leading luxury furniture and home décor brand in the UAE is organizing a design competition for university students in the UAE, as part of the 46th National Day celebrations. Students specializing in interior design and fine art courses from universities across UAE are entitled to enroll in this competition called ‘I Love UAE’.

Following the theme of the ‘UAE National Day’, students are supposed to superimpose their digital artwork on the image of a table lamp provided. The top 5 shortlisted entrees will be given the actual item on which they can then imprint their design. 

Commenting on ‘I Love UAE’ competition Amit Yadav, Marketing Manager at 2XL says, “The winning entrees will be chosen on the basis of creativity, design elements and how well the design concept accentuates the patriotism and love for the nation.  This is the second year we are hosting this competition and we have already had interest from several universities in the UAE.”

The top three winners will receive gift vouchers worth AED 10,000, AED 5000 and AED 3000, respectively, while two other designers will receive AED 1000 each. 

Winning designs will be announced prior to the UAE National Day.
