Dubai Courts introduces innovative channels for easy access to services and bring happiness to customers

UAE, October 7, 2017– The Dubai Courts announced that it has started implementing the decision to transfer inquiry services for labor-related cases and their verdicts through authorized external customer service centers. The new system was enforced following the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makotum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai; and in line with the Dubai Courts’ strategic objectives to optimize time and efforts for customers to complete legal and judicial transactions at the Dubai Courts and reduce the number of customers by 80 per cent by 2018. The new decision makes it possible for the customers to inquire about their applications, requests, decisions, and judgments without the need to approach the premises of the courts.

The new decision presents a significant shift in providing judicial services as it facilitates and streamlines work processes for employees. Customers can now electronically submit applications for registering labor cases and labor cases enforcement, receiving a photocopy of the legal notice publication for a hearing, and printing the brief statement of the cases via approved centers in Dubai.

H.E. Taresh Eid Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director General, Dubai Courts, said: “The inquiry services for labor-related cases and enforcements were transferred to authorized external Customer Service Centers as part of our commitment to constantly develop innovative and easily accessible services to the community by introducing new channels of communication with our customers throughout the day. We are confident that this latest decision will significantly contribute towards our constant efforts to enhance the services of the judicial system for all segments of the local community - including the court employees - by providing them the best services to improve daily schedules and bring them happiness in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makotum of making Dubai the happiest city in the world by 2021.”

Al Mansouri added: “The Dubai Courts also strive to expedite and streamline litigation proceedings by providing the legal and judicial services with quality, speed, efficiency, and reliability through easy-to-access and prominent locations. This is part of our top strategic priorities, which is to ensure the happiness of our customers. We are confident that our partnership with the authorized service offices in Dubai will effectively lead to transformative achievements, and will be an addition to our major accomplishments in serving justice for everyone, reflecting our vision to become one of the world’s leading courts.”

The range of services that can now be accessed through the authorized external customer service centers concerning include inquiry services related to labor cases and enforcements which comprise the submission of e-applications for registering the labor cases, registering labor cases enforcement, receiving a photocopy of the legal notice publication for a hearing, and printing the brief statement of cases; in addition to inquiry services about the cases, requests, decisions, adjudicated rulings, attachments, auctions, notifications, outgoing and incoming communications, documents and financial reports foreclosure, and the schedule of reservations.

The services are now available from 07:30 am - 17:00 pm at the authorized customer service centers in Dubai, including OnTime – Tasheel, Oud Metha; OnTime, Business Village in Deira; OnTime, Al Manara Municipality Building; OnTime, Mazaya Center; First Business Center, Business Village in Deira; Fixit Express Business Administration Services, Bur Dubai; Takhlees, Deira - Dubai Creek Tower; and Online, Dubai Health Care City.
