Dubai, UAE, October 18, 2017:  PUMA continues to partner with young creatives to expand their Sportstyle portfolio by enlisting one of the most influential and freshest photographers of his generation – Gunner Stahl. Gunner lends his streetwear aesthetic and energy to a capsule collection of headwear releasing in Autumn-Winter ’17.  Moreover, he plays the creative lead in photography and marketing initiatives for the collection. 

Gunner began his photography career in 2009 at 18-years old in the streets of Atlanta where he was born and raised. A self-taught photographer, he shoots exclusively on film and grew up amongst the hiphop crowd, capturing images of the industry’s finest. He later found himself in studios and at concerts on a daily basis, befriending his artist subjects. Due to these friendships, he’s secured the trust and gained exclusive access to capture intimate and never-before-seen moments with artists. 

At age 25, he’s already gained significant notoriety by capturing some of today’s biggest and most influential hiphop artists including Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert, Miley Cyrus, Future, Playboi Carti, Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug and many others. What distinguishes Gunner’s photography is his unique ability to effortlessly capture celebrities as their most organic, authentic self–completely in the moment, candid and raw. It’s this extraordinary talent that gives fans worldwide the chance to witness their favorite artists in a way that they’ve never seen them before.

For Autumn-Winter ’17, Gunner created five headwear styles with PUMA that bear his signature style and name. The first collection to drop, For You, Mom’ is, a tribute to his mother who passed away due to breast cancer. He designed the Beanie and Cap in Prism Pink to help promote awareness for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

Gunner designed the second drop, The Fall Pack, with his friends in mind. There’s a style for everyone -  tech/performance, OG classic and streetwear beanies and caps in 4 colors. Five different hats inspired by his closest friends and people he’s met along the way.

“This is more than clothing, fashion or hype!” says Gunner Stahl about his collection.  “This collaboration gives me the opportunity to give back to breast cancer and honor my mother, which means the most to me.”

The PUMA x Gunner Stahl Headwear Collection, For You, Mom will drop on October 20th. The Fall Pack will drop exclusively at ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA on November 4th, followed by a wider release on November 10th. Both will be available on PUMA.com and at leading lifestyle boutiques worldwide.
