WiFi UAE is Now Available Throughout Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi

To connect, visitors can simply search for the network name @WiFiUAE

Dubai, UAE, 18 December 2017:  Visitors to Dalma Mall can now enjoy the benefits of WiFi UAE as it rolls out at t Abu Dhabi’s favorite mall, in its, 255,000sqm area of shopping, entertainment and dining. All visitors have to do is simply search for the network name @WiFiUAE to connect. The service is available to all visitors with a UAE mobile number through two options: WiFi UAE, which is free, and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service. This latest launch expands the WiFi UAE footprint, which has seen users throughout the UAE take advantage of its seamless connectivity offering, to help enhance happiness through connectivity, in support of the UAE Government’s direction.

Speaking of the success of the rollout, Jihad Tayara, Vice President Business Development and Partnerships, du said: “We are pleased to expand WiFi UAE across Abu Dhabi and launching it at one of ‘Abu Dhabi’s Favorite Malls’ - Dalma Mall. The shopping destination will now provide free internet access to everyone – regardless of their network preference. With our latest launch, we plan to continue to spread happiness through the UAE with innovation and connectivity and with our commitment to supporting the UAE in its happiness agenda and in line with the nation’s Vision 2021, where we plan to achieve country-wide WiFi access in public locations for all!”

Mr. Bhupinder Singh, The General Manager and CFO of Dalma Mall, added: “At Dalma Mall, we are excited to be partnering with du on this exciting initiative. As Abu Dhabi’s favourite mall we strive to provide our customers with the best shopping experiences and keep them connected while they visit the mall, which we will now be able to offer them through WiFi UAE.”

WiFi UAE expects to enable WiFi connectivity through more than 400 locations by the end of the year via its award-winning ‘@WiFiUAE’ network. The service offers users two types of Internet connection; WiFi UAE, a free WiFi service, and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service that allows users unrestricted upload and download speed.

du has introduced WiFi UAE in a number of high footfall areas including RTA serviced areas such as the Dubai Metro and Tram, Emaar Boulevard Downtown Dubai, malls across the Emirates such as Al Ain Mall, Al Naeem Mall and Al Naeem City Center in Ras Al Khaimah, Marina Mall and LuLu Malls in Abu Dhabi, Sahara Center in Sharjah, as well as The Dubai Mall and Wafi Mall in Dubai, to name a few. It provides fast and free access to all government websites and apps
