Milano witness 35 percent increase in business growth last year
Dubai, UAE, February 01, 2018: Milano, wholly-owned by Danube Group is UAE’s leading brand in sanitary, electrical products, water purifier, hardware and tiles, announced an increase of over 35 percent business growth in 2017. Individually, the following divisions saw a significant annual growth rate, sanitary 30%, tiles 58%, hardware 62% and electrical 80%. As a solid contributing factor to this success, the company sold 160,000 water heaters in 2017 as compared to 60,000 in 2016 along with the launch of new products under the group’s portfolio.
“With consistent growth throughout 2017, we have centered our position as leading provider in our industry. Our team’s innovation, drive and dedication towards our clients were critical to our growth and success in 2017. Moreover, it is very significant to have committed team heads and Milano is being led by the right and determined team heads in respective divisions,’’ said the Managing Director of Danube group, Anis Sajan.
Speaking about the success of the brand Milano he further added, “Milano has continued its course of growth with focused and advanced vision. In view of the competition and price pressure, this is a pleasing result. This development validates our hard work, proves our well-deserved good reputation in the market and establishment of a long-term association with our clients. This encourages us to continue along the path we have chosen. Started over 10 years ago, I never imagined that Milano will be holding the grand success it does today and we have a deep sense of responsibility towards people who help make our success possible.”
The brand has shown a sharp increase in sales in the year 2017 as compared to 2016 with an increase in demand of various product lines. Major sales are contributed via projects, dealers and retail channels through all the Danube Home showrooms in the Middle East.
The company is also aiming to clock a substantial increase in its turnover in 2018. The major focus is to strengthen the business strategy further alongside the vision to become top global player in the complete luxury bath fitting solutions, water purifiers, tiles, electrical products and hardware fittings. The brand is distributed in Africa, Europe and Asia, and has around 50 showrooms in the Middle East, and is supported by more than 5000 distributors across the world.
