Red Hat Receives Overall “Positive” Rating in Gartner's 2018 Vendor Rating

DUBAI, UAE, 20th FEBRUARY, 2018– Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced Gartner, Inc., a leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has given the company an overall “Positive” rating in its 2018 Vendor Rating report for the fourth consecutive time.

From Red Hat’s perspective, the overall “Positive” rating reflects on the strength of Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud portfolio, container-based technologies and datacenter automation, as well as our ability to meet customers’ needs as they modernize IT systems with flexible and agile open source solutions.

Gartner Vendor Ratings assess many different aspects of a technology provider, such as its products, support, pricing, technology, strategy and financials, These ratings are periodically revised to reflect changes in assessment when a significant internal or external event directly affects the provider.
