Etisalat Digital's M2M Connectivity Solutions Empowers FEWA Smart Metering Project
Dubai, 13 March 2018: Etisalat Digital today announced its strategic agreement with Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) to provide them with M2M connectivity solutions to empower their smart metering project that will enable advanced services to all FEWA customers.
Etisalat Digital’s M2M Control Center solution will be used for FEWA Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project backhauling and communication by incorporating M2M connectivity and enabling the M2M portal for 24,000 smart meters.
This is the first phase of FEWA’s complete smart metering project. M2M sims will be installed by Etisalat Digital in FEWA’s smart meters to automate data collection and offer improved services to customers.
