We are blessed with rich biodiversity in the surrounding Arabian Gulf, which houses a diverse marine ecosystem. Plastic pollution has emerged as one of the biggest environmental challenges of our time and the impact of this environmental degradation on human lives and other lifeforms can be highly detrimental. It is high time we address the harmful effects of single-use plastic on the environment and adopt lifestyles that are much more in harmony with the nature.”
