Union Coop Reports 73 Percent Emiratization Rate in Top Managerial Positions

The number of Emirati employees in Union Coop totals to 343, where the Senior management positions were reported as 73 percent, while other administrative positions account for 30 percent 

27 June 2018 – Dubai, UAE:  Mr. Ahmed Bin Kenaid, Director of Human Resources and Emiratization at Union Coop said, “Union Coop pays great importance to Emiratization, as we believe it is one of the most important steps towards national human resources development. The number of UAE citizens working at Union Coop includes 127 men and 216 women, as of May-end 2018. Union Coop is keen on hiring local talents and contributes to the government’s vision of ‘Emiratization’, by overcoming the challenges with respect to the same in the private sector.” 

He further motivated job seekers of the Emirati nationals with various experiences and qualifications to visit Union Coop’s website – to apply for suitable employment. For its part, Union Coop also conducted a recruitment drive/workshop with Emirates Nationals Development Programme at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority – Dubai, accompanied by introductory lectures on Union Coop and job opportunities within. 

Bin Kenaid adds,” Union Coop adopts & motivates the Emiratis to realize their ambitions through integrated training programs and job opportunities that help them achieve their professional and personal goals.
