Xpress Money Signs Up As The Principal Sponsor of the Bengal Tigers in the T10 League

Led by English cricketer, Sam Billings, the team features top players from around the world

Dubai, UAE, October 17  2018:  Xpress Money, has signed up as the principal sponsor of the T10 League team, Bengal Tigers. The second season of the T10, which recently became an International Cricket Council (ICC) sanctioned tournament, is being held from 21st November at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. 

Bengal Tigers, which is being coached by legendary cricketer, Stephen Fleming, features top cricketers from around the world. Some of the names include Sunil Narine from West Indies, Jason Roy from England, Mujeeb Ur Rahman from Afghanistan‎, Morne Morkel from South Africa, and Kusal Perera from Sri Lanka. The brand ambassadors of the team are renowned cricketers Sarfaraz Ahmed from Pakistan and Tamim Iqbal Khan from Bangladesh. 
Sudhesh Giriyan, COO, Xpress Money, said, “We are proud and excited to be the principal sponsor of Bengal Tigers, one of the strongest teams in this year’s T10 League. The team has a great line-up of players, backed by experience and proven track records. As the tournament is being held in the UAE, it is even more special as the country is home to diasporas of some of the biggest cricket-loving nations such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, and UK, among others. 

The Bengal Tigers team has a great fan following from varied diasporas which is very similar to the customer base that Xpress Money has. Two fantastic brands coming together will bring a lot of excitement to the tournament.” 

Danube’s Managing Director Anis Sajan, also known as ‘Mr Cricket’ in UAE, said: “We are delighted to have Xpress Money as our principal sponsor as they share the same passion like us, and look forward to long term association. I am sure it will be a fruitful collaboration.”

The T10 Cricket League, the world’s first 10-over cricket league, was first played in 2017; and was a runaway success, drawing large crowds to the stadium and watched by cricket fans all over the world.
