In line with the UAE’s Knowledge Economy vision, QnA International welcomes education partner Babson College to the 6th annual GOV HR Summit, 2018

Dubai, UAE, November 03, 2018:   Dubai based QnA International is pleased to announce Babson College as the Education partner for the two-day Summit taking place on October 23-24 at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Babson College, one of the premiere Business Schools from Wellesley, Massachusetts will be onboard to align the upcoming summit with the UAE’s Knowledge economy vision and highlight the importance of entrepreneurial education and increased capabilities of the start-up founders.

Focusing on how entrepreneurial education if done right makes a powerful difference to an early-stage business’s chance of success, Babson College focuses to empower students to head on their Entrepreneur journey in any dynamic set-up.

As the knowledge economy progresses to create jobs of the future, it is imperative for entrepreneurs to continually develop their skills which can be implied further to their work with any associations - a startup, an established corporation, the non-profit or the public sector.  Governments can create a generation of nimble workers capable of coping with quick shifts in the job market.  The government office must continually track the skills most needed by industry to be internationally competitive, and work closely with higher education institutions to support the development of practical short courses—certificates and non-degree options—that will help workers keep pace with the jobs of the future.

Speaking about the participation of the college at the GOV HR Summit, Dr. Kerry Healey, President, Babson College, said, “At Babson, we believe that Entrepreneurship is the most powerful tool for positive change in the World.  We also believe that Entrepreneurship is a skill that can be taught, and that success in business is not limited to those who are born with an entrepreneurial inclination.

As a new member of the Dubai educational community, we are honoured to join this distinguished group of industry leaders at the GOV HR Summit 2018.   Dubai is a premier international economic centre, and as the global leader in Entrepreneurship education, Babson is excited to be a part of this young country’s vibrant, meteoric—and deeply entrepreneurial— journey.”

HR leaders are going to become even more critical to the success of all organizations as job skills and demands begin to evolve at the speed of technological innovation.  Babson Colleges’ participation at the summit will focus on the three-fold approach which sums up the need of the hour. Building on employees’ strength, empowering them and training them to be agile forms the crux of entrepreneurial education.

“At the 6th Annual GOV HR Summit, we look forward to our education partners bringing to light the importance of the right kind of guidance, and the right formulation of learning which recognizes the ever-changing demographic, needs and workstreams of the region. The discussion on education and vocational training in the back-ends of a sound human capital resource is set to take centre-stage along with a myriad of breakthroughs in the technology and knowledge power of the industry,’’ said Mr Ackash Jain, Director, QnA International.

Through its Blended Learning MBA – said to be part of the top-10 in the World according to the Financial Times – Babson College had opened doors for new opportunities for the young entrepreneurs and students, connecting them to an established network of 40,000+ Babson Alum entrepreneurs spanning 114 countries in all sectors. Catering to the HR sector by means of synergetic working via the ‘ET&A Challenges’, Babson College looks to create a conducive environment for growth and development for students as well as employees of the college.

The two-day conference will be followed by the region’s most prestigious award ceremony, The GCC GOV HR Awards 2018. The event recognizes, promotes and rewards excellence, professionalism and outstanding achievement of governments, business organizations and individuals who have raised the benchmark of people performance across the region.
