First-time exhibitors rewarded for their forward-focused showcase at region’s largest F&B processing industry event

Dubai, November 7, 2018:   International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), made an instant impression with its debut outing at Gulfood Manufacturing 2018, the region’s largest food and beverage forum for the processing and manufacturing sector in the Middle East.

IFF, the world’s largest producer of flavours and fragrances, is participating at the show for the first time as one of the 1,600 local and international exhibitors demonstrating how they are feeding the evolving needs of the global food processing industry. And the US-based industry heavyweight was selected for the Gulfood Manufacturing Exhibitor Impact Award, for its impressive stand and presence at the show, which runs at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) until Thursday.

Visitors to the IFF stand can take part in a unique multi-sensory journey, tasting and smelling what IFF predicts foods might be like in 2020 through to 2030, including an entirely-plant-based sausage that most people believe is meat.

Mamdouh Seoudy, regional business development and marketing manager at IFF, said: “We wanted to come to Gulfood Manufacturing and make a statement. We are the biggest flavour and fragrance provider to the F&B industry in the world, yet we are the secret ingredient in all your favourite brands. The Impact Award reflects how we are constantly monitoring and meeting industry changes and with our presence here we have have tried to re-imagine the future of food, envisaging what those changes might be.”

Mark Napier, Show Director, Gulfood Manufacturing 2018, said: “We have been extremely impressed by IFF’s professionalism and commitment to the event. It’s no surprise that they enjoy market-leading status. They have created a memorable, innovative stand, and ensured the presentation, marketing and even customer invitations have made a real difference to their presence at the show.”

Registered visitors can enjoy the sensory IFF at the awarding-winning stand at D32 in Saeed Hall 3.

Gulfood Manufacturing 2018 is open from 10am – 6pm on 6-7 November, and 10am – 5pm on 8 November. The show is only open to food and beverage industry professionals and visitor attendance is free of charge. For more information, visit http://www.gulfoodmanufacturing.com/
