For Spring/Summer 2019, BOSS presents a fresh collection of sporty and classic styles for boys, and introduces a contemporary capsule for girls. This season also sees the launch of a complete collection of expertly made footwear to complement the high quality of the clothing.

Boys see a wider offering of casualwear for SS19, embracing a more athleisure aesthetic. Dressing for the city at the start of the season, the classic BOSS navy blue is brightened with pops of orange and cobalt on t-shirts, polos and shorts. The second theme focuses on the athleisure trend, blending classic monochrome with cooler shades of ice blue, and flashes of fluorescent yellow. For the summer, poppy and lemon lend sunny hues to navy and heather grey.

Materials see a new focus on stretch, sporty fabrics that are lightweight and breathable, as well as new technical sweatshirt fabrics in piqué polyester fleece and lined with jersey. Branding favors oversized logos throughout the collection, and innovative printing techniques include multicolored embossed ink, woven prints and reflective banding.

For special occasions, the collection offers an outfit to suit all styles. Timeless BOSS suits in cool wool and end to end thread are cut with a slimmer fit for a more tailored look, and are available in a wider range of colors. Lighter fabrics ensure that summer suits are season appropriate, in cotton and linen. This season sees the launch of the mini-me “Travel Jacket”, machine washable and ideal for packing for trips abroad, with a breathable mesh lining. Shirts are also slim-fit, and pair just as easily with formal wear as they do with more casual looks.

In the wake of the FW18 collection, continuing to highlight BOSS’ sponsorship of Formula E, a small, easy-to-wear capsule embraces the icons of the mechanised sport: shields, the checked flag and oversized logos that look as though they are in motion.

New for SS19, the girls’ collection revisits the BOSS icons with a touch of feminine flair – think polo shirts and polo dresses – all with an undeniably athleisure look. Fashion-forward yet comfortable, a high-waisted skirt with snap buttons and sporty stripes down the side, large-fit boyfriend t-shirt and oversized sweatshirt can be mixed and matched with the collection’s line of essentials. An oversized nylon windbreaker, cropped sweatshirt and top with batwing sleeves offer a contemporary take on classic styles. Experiment with the look by incorporating an oxford shirt or a pair of jeans from the boys’ line. A sleeveless satin dress for special occasions rounds off the collection, with sporty pleats keeping it relaxed and on-brand.
