Driving Factors Include Increased Orders, Passenger Traffic Growth and Retrofitting

February 04, 2019 - Dubai, UAE

The aircraft interiors market is predicted to be worth $40.2 billion by 2025, according to marketsandmarkets. With the industry seeing such growth, Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME), returning to Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) 11-12 February for its tenth edition, is yet again set to provide the ideal platform for solution providers and suppliers to meet with representatives of airlines from around the world.

AIME traditionally attracts global airline representatives and the 2019 edition is no exception, with representatives from KLM, Air France and Tunisair confirmed to attend the two day event alongside those from Etihad, Emirates and Oman Air.

One of the key drivers for industry growth is increased aircraft orders, of which the Middle East airlines hold a significant percentage. In addition, airlines such as Emirates and others in the Gulf are leading the way in terms of investment in innovations for passenger comfort, making the Middle East the ideal location for suppliers and airlines to meet and learn about the newest opportunities.

Exhibitors at AIME will be showcasing their products and services that include the entire spectrum of the aircraft interiors market, from lighting providers such as Beadlight and Madelec Aero to seating providers including Starling Aerospace and textile suppliers like Botany Weaving. Other sectors that are represented include flooring, galley equipment and many more from both returning companies and those who will be exhibiting for the first time in 2019.

“AIME has long been known as the ideal place to meet the right people from the right airlines,” said Caryn McConnachie, Aerospace Director of show organisers Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East. “Exhibitors know that as the only dedicated aircraft interiors event in the Middle East, AIME is the annual opportunity to connect with the key links in the buying chain to ensure business gets done. We are thrilled to see representatives of so many key airlines attending and are confident that they will be impressed with the products, services and solutions on display from our exhibitors.”

AIME will again be co-located with MRO Middle East and take place 11-12 February at Dubai World Trade Centre.
