United Arab Emirates -  March 6, 2019:  The French National Audiovisual Institute - INA will showcase at the CABSAT show in Dubai from March 12 to 14, 2019 – Booth F3-33, located in Hall 3 under the French pavilion.

For the first time in Dubai, in addition to its media and digital training catalogue & its consulting offers, INA will present INA-Signature, its owned-developed and industrialized content and copyrights protection tool, which has been honored with the prestigious Technology and Engineering Emmy Award on April 2018 during a ceremony at the Nab Show in Las Vegas.

Designed and developed by INA, the INA-Signature technology generates a digital fingerprint proper to each video sequence. This enables to detect content and its copies, even after the original sequence has been altered.

Available now via the cloud, the INA-Signature technology is a viable solution for copy right holders and content share platforms that would like to control the publishing of videos protected by copy rights. The companies that develop new anti-piracy software can also benefit from this innovative solution that help to automatically detect the online use of video content including those that have digitally been altered.

The INA-Signature technology is currently being used by several big North American studios and sports leagues as well as video platforms such as Dailymotion. Companies specialized in anti-piracy and brand protection solutions such as MarkMonitor also use the INA-Signature technology to offer their clients the best protection services for their content.

“The adoption and democratization of high bandwidth in the MENA region has resulted in a significant increase in the piracy of streaming of live sports. Piracy is costing the entertainment business in the region an estimated US$500 million. Hence, it is paramount to monitor the use and distribution of content to protect its intellectual property rights.” says David FACUSE, INA-Signature business developer at INA.
