Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defence participated in the women’s “Tolerance Parade” at Maydan racecourse for a distance of 4 kilometers. The event, organized by the Women’s Committee at Dubai Customs, comes as part of the series of events that Dubai Customs has in place for the Year of Tolerance.

The women’s “Tolerance Parade” is the first gathering of Dubai government departments in the tolerance year, and aimed to enhance the values of tolerance and co-existence and other principles taught and instilled into the nation by the Late Founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, May Allah Bless His Soul.

“We have a message to convey through this procession. The UAE is home of tolerance and was built on the pillars of tolerance and co-existence,” Musabih said. “The UAE now is among the most stable and prosperous countries in the world, and tolerance is an inherent value among the Emiratis.”
