Emirates Post Recognized for Outstanding Customer Services by Universal Postal Union for the 3rd time

  • UAE becomes the only Arab Country to win the award three times
Dubai, UAE, April 14, 2019:   Post, the UAE’s leading postal services provider, won its third International Express Mail Services accolade for outstanding Customer Services, making the UAE the only Arab country to win the award three times. Granted by the EMS unit of Universal Postal Union (UPU), the award reaffirms the organization’s position as leading postal, express delivery and courier firm that is able to meet ever-changing customer demands. 
 
Commenting on the award, HE Abdulla Mohammad Alashram, acting CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: “Our postal service is designed with customers in mind as we know that individuals and organizations need a reliable partner when it comes to sending and receiving packages locally, regionally and internationally. To that end, we are proud to have been recognized and presented with this global accolade for the third time.” 
 
As a member of the EMS Cooperative, Emirates Post took home the Customer Care Award after achieving a 100% on-time response to incoming customer inquiries, quality responses and innovating its practices to ensure customers’ happiness. 
 
Furthermore, Emirates Post was able to demonstrate incremental improvements from 2017 to 2018 with ‘Average time to open requests received going from 8 minutes to 5 minutes only and; the ‘Average time to open replies received’ going from 53 minutes to 24 minutes, noting that the target required is 3 hours. These results highlight Emirates Post’s restless efforts towards never-ending improvement.
