Dubai, UAE, April 25, 2019:   Al-Futtaim Toyota has announced the winners of the 5th annual Toyota Dream Car Art Contest at a special award ceremony held at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.

The contest is a global initiative that runs across 81 countries, attracting over 900,000 submissions annually from children up to 15 years of age. The format of the competition allows children to let their youthful creativity run free by asking them to imagine the best problem-solving car in the world.

This year, the competition saw participation of over 950 entries from 22 schools across the UAE. The entries were judged around their uniqueness and execution of concept, as well as the child’s artistic ability.

Commenting on the competition, Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Toyota, said, “Each year we continue to be amazed at the level of creativity in the entries submitted and this year has once again exceeded our expecations. We’ve seen some extremely creative artworks and I would like to thank all the young artists and their teachers for their participation and hard work.”

The competition is divided into three age groups – under 8 years old, 8-11 years old and 12-15 years old – with Bronze, Silver and Gold winners in each category.
