Turkish Airlines records impressive Q1 passenger growth in the Middle East
- 2019 will see Turkish Airlines expand its extensive flight network with the introduction of 13 new routes including Sharjah and Marrakech which started operations in early April
- Turkey’s national carrier served a total of 1.58 million passengers in the Middle East during Q1 2019, rising by 2.5 percent since the same period in 2018
- The airline also carried a total of 41.698 tons of mail in cargo in the Middle East, which witnessed a 5.8 percent increase since last year
