  • The Emirate’s 24-Hour shopping extravaganza begins 5th June
  • 16 participating malls across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain city will offer incredible deals for residents and visitors alike
 
Abu Dhabi, 30 May 2019: The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), in partnership with the Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi, has announced the return of the highly anticipated 24-Hour Mega Sale this Eid Al Fitr. Abu Dhabi residents and visitors alike will be treated to an extravaganza of retail delights with discounts and unparalleled offers across top global fashion, jewellery, accessory, home, electronic and sporting brands. The 24-Hour Mega Sale, which is part of the Retail Abu Dhabi (RAD) initiative, will start at 10am on 5th June and run until 10am the following day.
 
With more than 500 participating retailers across 16 malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain city, shoppers looking for exceptional deals will be able to test their shopping stamina during this 24-hour retail marathon. Promising something for everyone alongside the sales, shoppers will also be able to enjoy Shop & Win competitions, show events and kids activities. Marina Mall will host Nickelodeon Rocks, Hili Mall will host a kids education programme, while Dalma Mall, The Mall at World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Jimi Mall, Al Ain will host Shop & Win competitions for shoppers. Other malls will also have live entertainment events during the Eid period.
 
RAD was launched in 2018 as part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s effort to provide unparalleled offerings and experiences to the emirate’s residents and visitors. The retail initiative helps to further reinforce the capital’s position as an exceptional international tourist destination.

Our retail establishments are a key element of Abu Dhabi’s economic growth and we trust that these amazing shopping offers will encourage both residents and visitors to come to the malls and take advantage of all these incredible deals.”

We are pleased to confirm the participation of eight malls around Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in the upcoming mega sale.” Malls taking part in the 2019 edition of DCT Abu Dhabi’s 24-Hour Mega Sale, include Yas Mall, The Mall at World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, Al Jimi Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, Bawadi Mall, Dalma Mall, Al Raha Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Barari Outlet Mall, Foah Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Madinat Mall, Mazyad Mall, Mushrif Mall and Marina Mall. Other malls, including Al Ain Mall, City Centre Al Masdar, Deerfields Mall and Hili Mall, will participate with extended hours operating until 3am on the 5th of June, so shoppers can take advantage of the sales during this time.
