As Dubai International Airport - DXB Airport, gears up to celebrate its 59th birthday, the 530-key luxury hotel located within its expansive premise, joins the celebration with a host of special offers.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates -  September 28, 2019:   Expecting to welcome its one billionth passenger later this year, DXB is the world’s busiest international airport and an aviation brand loved and respected around the world. When Dubai opened a tiny terminal building and a 1,800-ft-long compacted sand runway 58 years ago on September 30, 1960, nobody realised that it was the first step in what was to become one of the most inspiring journeys in aviation history. And for the past 18 years, Dubai International  Hotel has been home to the numerous transit passengers as well as passengers entering and exiting Dubai. From its luxurious lounges, personalised Meet and Greet services, the super special Ahlan service to their spectacular dining options, spa indulgences and state-of-the-art conference centres, Dubai International Hotel offers the whole package.

The luxury airport hotel is excited to roll out special offers to celebrate DXB’s milestone day  on September 30th 2019. For all room bookings in the Deluxe Room category (made on September 30th), guests can enjoy an upgrade to Executive Room with all Executive Floor benefits for an additional USD 59.

The F&B offering includes a delicious range of discounts too. Offering Continental, Asian, Indian and Arabic cuisines, The Gallery, located near Gate B09, is serving an irresistible Kung Pao Chicken or Chicken Tikka with Rice/ Naan Bread plus one soft drink at just AED 59.

Sky Bar will be offering its popular burger or club sandwich with one soft drink, while Asian speciality restaurant Cho Gao will serve Noodles or Fried Rice with one soft drink – for of course, a special price of AED 59 per dish.

In its near 60-year history, the iconic airport has welcomed millions of people from all over the world, making it the busiest airport in the world for international passengers. The team at Dubai International Airport is delighted to offer exciting birthday treats to DXB passengers on this day, as they look forward to this beautiful airport’s mercurial growth in 2020, and beyond.
