WHAT: Nicola Glass, Kate Spade New York Creative Director, and Rosemin Manji, TV Presenter, introduced the Fall 2019 collection in the new Mall of the Emirates store. Guests browsed the collection and enjoyed light sips and snacks while models presented key styles from the line. Attendees were treated to an informal conversation between Rosemin and Nicola that spoke about the Fall 2019 collection inspiration, Nicola’s first year as creative director of Kate Spade, and her upcoming plans for the brand.   

 

Kate Spade New York’s new store at Mall of the Emirates is a celebration of the new brand vision under creative director Nicola Glass, reflecting Glass’s unique evolution of the brand’s original house codes — thoughtful design, modern color and the spade — throughout. Tonal shades of pink rose gold and signature deep green form a sophisticated palette to highlight the brand’s collections, and provide the architectural foundation for a textural, sensory experience.  Inside there are mixed material accents such as marble, velvet, back-painted tinted glass and metal.

 

Floors are crafted from pale pink marble, while the brand’s new signature spade floral print is embossed on plaster walls.  Meanwhile, softly curved fixtures, furniture, high-polished lacquered pedestals and mannequin displays further reinforce the modern femininity at the heart of the brand.

 

As the life and style brand continues to expand both domestically and internationally, this store marked Kate Spade New York’s fifth specialty store in Dubai and its seventh store in the United Arab Emirates.
