
Dubai Festival City Witnesses Over 1600 Runners Participating at the Second Season of the Half Marathon
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3rd November 2019: Dubai Festival City’s Half Marathon, organized by RaceME, that took place over the weekend saw over 1600 registered runners across all race categories including the 21km half marathon, 10km, 5km routes and the 1km Teeny Tiny fun run for kids. Hosted by Kris Fade, a popular radio host with an avid interest in fitness and healthy lifestyle, runners enjoyed the scenic routes that consisted of some of Dubai Festival City’s iconic landmarks, including the Dubai Festival City Mall, Festival Bay, Marsa Plaza and Al Badia Residences.
The race village was hustling with over 1000 spectators who came to cheer for the runners and also enjoy the F&B options.
The Dubai Festival City Half Marathon was held as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and with the support of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police, Dubai RTA and Dubai Municipality.
