Three phases focused on children welfare

 

Dubai, UAE, December 05, 2019:   Under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Information City, held the closing ceremony of 'Saada' initiative at the Atlantis Hotel in Palm Jumeirah. The ceremony was attended by high profile dignitaries, officials and sponsors from all sectors. The initiative emphasized on its active role to help the community in general, and to accelerate progress in the sectors of education, health and society.

 

Over two years in a row, the 'Saada' initiative has made tremendous achievements in terms of assisting children socially and culturally through its implementation of three important phases. With its strategic partner MTN, the Information City, provided in its first phase 1000 school bags with a complete set of stationary for students between five and nine years old, the second phase was paying part of the school fees for 250 students, while the third phase provided 1000 modern laptops to 1000 students in Dubai schools.


Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum was concerned that 'Saada' achieves its objectives successfully, in terms of focusing on the importance of providing good education, recreation and promoting the future of children. Since its inception, the Information City is keen to focus on the future generation by improving their educational, recreational and well being level, as evidenced in its 10-years journey, during which it completed many educational initiatives and projects.


The 'Saada' initiative, organized by the Information City and its strategic partner, MTN, has been praised by senior officials from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority KHDA, government and semi-government bodies, and major local and global establishments including: MTN, LUKOIL, ATLANTIS THE PALM, CERNER, SOBHA, TAQNIA,  DUBAI DUTY FREE, Bridgestone Middle East & Africa FZE, GOODYEAR , ALHANDAL GROUP
