With the chance to meet Santa, stories with Mrs Claus, carol singers, and a tree lighting ceremony, Ski Dubai is creating a Christmas Wonderland full of cheer

Dubai, UAE, 09 December 2019:   Now’s the perfect time to pull on that questionable Christmas jumper, warm up the vocal cords, and get ready to spread some festive cheer as Ski Dubai at  Mall of the Emirates announces a picture-perfect Christmas Wonderland from 12 – 24 December. The packed programme of activities offers the opportunity to meet the main man himself - Santa Claus, witness the lighting of a magnificent, glittering Christmas tree, revel in artistic craft-making workshops for the kids, and share in some heart-warming carol singing.

Stretching across both the cold and warm sides of Ski Dubai, the packed programme of complimentary activities kicks off on 12 December at 6pm with the lighting of a giant glittering Christmas tree. But before the big switch on, visitors are invited to gather around and join the parade with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and carollers in festive song to mark the start of the celebrations.

On the cold side, guests can create a moment worth remembering by stepping into Santa’s grotto to meet the beloved character and take a photo with him. The Santa ticket, which includes the photo and a gift is available for AED 125. Once wishes have been made and guests make sure they are indeed on Santa’s ‘nice’ list, they can delight in a cup of hot cocoa in the snow park with crisp white snow under foot.

Walking through the Christmas Wonderland, guests will be treated to much more. At a cozy nook by the fireplace, kids will find Mrs. Claus sitting in her rocking chair waiting to regale them with stories.

And, right before leaving, visitors can share one last experience (until they return) by writing their Christmas gift wish to hang on the SHARE-a-wish tree. In the true spirit of giving, one lucky wisher will be selected on the morning of  24 December to have their gift personally delivered to them by Santa Claus.

The festive holidays are a magical time filled with joy and togetherness, and Christmas Wonderland at Ski Dubai is the perfect opportunity to revel in both, right up to the big day. What better way to spark some festive cheer than hitting the slopes, sharing a moment with Santa, singing your favourite carols, and witnessing the Christmas lights switch on, all in the company of those closest to you?

Children’s workshops, storytelling with Mrs Claus and tree lighting ceremony are free to attend.
